The USA Today Top 25 preseason football coach’s poll was released today. Texas Tech was unranked, but did receive 114 standing points. The top 5 schools in the poll were: 1. Florida 2. Texas 3. Oklahoma 4. Southern California 5. Alabama Texas Tech’s Board of Regents meets today and tomorrow to consider raising tuition, among other things. Much of the extra money would go to raises for faculty and staff.
